Millie is the only child I've had that will eat jarred baby food. She only likes the savory dishes though. No prunes and oatmeal for her. She's also getting better at gumming up little pieces of real food. She loved the corned beef and Irish Soda bread from yesterday. Sylvia refused practically all food until she was a year old. Gus was around 8 or 9 months before he was interested in more than nursing.

Very interesting...trust me, you'll have much more routine in 20 years but you won't enjoy it nearly as much as the years leading up to "quiet time". Some of my best times now are those moments when i can sit back and reflect on the wonderful moments your mom amd i had experiencing the joys and tribulations associated with raising you and Kimbo and Amer. Those were great days...one of my fondest memories was taking you and Kimbo out trick and treating in Medicine Lodge...you were a cabbage patch doll and Kimbo was a snoopy dog. Another great day was your senior prom....you were so beautiful that night it brought a tear to my eye..not that your not always beautiful but that night was something special. Equally special today is the immense pleasure I (we) get from three of the most wonderful grandkids anyone could have....watching them from a little bundle to now is special and sorta takes us back to the eighties/nineties when the three of you were experiencing new delights virtually every day. Anyhow, enuff for now...looking forward to Saturday's dinner...do the beans in a slow cook with bacon bits...don't forget to put cloves in the ham. We should be there around 11:00. See you then..meanwhile give Sylvie, Auggie and Millie a big hug from Gran-daddeo
